CUT&Tag analysis of ZFHX4 and H3K27ac in midbrain dopaminergic neurons.
CUT&Tag analysis of the transcription factor ZFHX4 and the histone mark H3K27ac was performed in midbrain dopaminergic neurons (mDANs) derived from induced pluripotent stem cells. This epigenomic approach enabled the identification of ZFHX4 binding sites in this specific cellular context. Comparing the CUT&Tag profiles of ZFHX4 and H3K27ac provided insights into epigenetic landscapes in mDANs and revealed whether ZFHX4 exhibits patterns similar to the active transcription mark H3K27ac. Finally, enrichment analysis of the identified peaks highlighted potential primary targets of ZFHX4 in mDANs.
